The fact that minimalism is definitely here to stay is one thing that keeps me going each day. There is no trend that I am done with more than heaps of jewelry with endless fringe etc etc. Jensen's collection is minimal, yet he used some prints and interesting fabrics to keep from being boring. Also, how about those hats? This collection is giving me quirkly well dressed art teacher vibes.

Checkboard dreams at Louis Vuitton S/S 13

Although reminiscent of Marc Jacobs' own S/S 13 collection, he kept Vuitton a bit more lady like and less edgy, but still fresh. The minimal 1960s are here to stay, ladies.

Miuccia Prada did an incredible job this season. Her collection for Prada was inspired by the 1960s as well Japanese women, as she put it. The color scheme included shocking red, pink, gold, silver, black, etc etc. It all was appealing to the eye, my favorite part was the amount of embellishment in the collection on accessories, but it never went over the top. Also, how beautiful are the fur coats with the floral motifs? Beautiful!
