First Rodarte Ad Ever! | S/S 09

This is the first Rodarte Ad I have ever seen, and it is for the line's S/S collection.  Not sure of who the model is, but I'll update you on that soon.  The way the model is posing, the font, the colors of the shot, perfectly embodies the collection and what its about.  Stunning. This just made my night.

Miu Miu S/S 09 Ad Campaign | A Few More

Balmain S/S Ad Campaign | Daria Werbowy

Love the outfit Daria is wearing! It was my favorite from the collection.  The background and pose could of been a little different though, maybe a bit more rock n' roll.  Shot by Inez & Vinoodh.

Karl Lagerfeld S/S 09 Ad Campaign

Karl Lagerfeld's S/S ad campaign featuring Freja Beha Erichsen.  The lighting seems carefully placed, I like how there is like a blue grayish light focused on Freja.  It is very cool, streamlined, city-like.  I love Freja's intense stare, she is always one to look intense.  Also, this campaign was shot by Lagerfeld.

Alexander Mcqueen S/S Ad Campaign

Just came out today, no word on who photographed it or who the model is yet, but I'm sure that information is soon to come.  It seems very futuristic, very interesting, it reminds me of Lanvin Fall 07, with the same model multiple times in the same pose on the page.  It is pretty cool, it makes me want to see more.

Balenciaga S/S 2009 Ads | Ana J

Ana Jagodzinska for Balenciaga S/S 09.  I feel it is too similar as the other images.  Almost all of the girls look the same.  This is definitely not my favorite shot, but I think that the dress is really cool.

This collection was definitely a top collection of SS 09!  These bags are so beautiful, and so detailed.

John Galliano S/S Ad Campaign | Sasha Pivovarova

I love this ad and Sasha Pivovarova.  She is the perfect model for this.  Personally, I really did not like this collection on the runway, but so far, it has translated well into print!

 

I hope there are more shots, because these two are pretty great, I like the 1st better than the 2nd though.

More Photos | Marc Jacobs S/S 09 Ad Campaign

I have found more shots from the S/S 09 Marc Jacobs Ad campaign, some I am in love with, some definitely not.  My least favorite is the one where Raquel Zimmerman is exposed, unfortunately, and it did not make for a great shot, in my opinion.  I do like the first images that came out in this series, which are included in these images, and I like the one with Raquel standing on the chair in the gown, and the one with just the shoes.  Take a look for yourself.
