Dana Lee S/S '11, for men and women. Floral shirts and denim jackets are key for spring, both genders. They can look vintage, but will still be fitting for the crisp feel of the spring trends.
Chloe Sevigny's Pre-Spring 2011 collection for Opening Ceremony went online for pre-order on the brand's site, and wow, it is seriously to die for. The entire collection is inspired by the 90s, which was Chloe's hey-day. The inspiration is clearly visible in the prints, fabrics, and silhouettes of each piece. The 90s were also very apparent in the shoe design, the chunky platform boots and sling-back sandals are all too appropriate. I seriously want every piece in this collection, especially the leather shorts, leopard print peter pan collar dress, and the rose photograph cropped tee.
Yes I'm finally getting around to sharing my favorite S/S '11 collections (school was sooo busy during S/S '11 fashion month) anyway, I really liked what Hannah MacGibbon did for Chloe this season. The collection was as simplistic as always, as MacGibbon has been doing since S/S 09 for the French fashion house. It was ballerina-esque, with that touch of classic Chloe feminine elegance. Sheer fabrics and tough leather tops created the right mix of hard and soft to give the collection an edge.
J.W. Anderson S/S '11. He can seriously do no wrong. You can tell each of these looks are expertly crafted, right down the embellishment on the hiking boots. The slight military inspiration in the way of the structure of the clothes in the collection is a fitting choice to go with the feminine colors and textures of the other fabrics.
