Terry Richardson captures Jacquelyn Jablonski and Crystal Renn for one of the editorials from V Magazine's Size Issue. Both girls channel each other with their posing, in the wonderfully wild looks put together by Mel Ottenberg. Those Proenza Schouler and Versace shoes are too damn cool.

Craig McDean photographed all of our favorite models for this simple editorial from the Jan issue of W Magazine. Alex White did the styling, mixing all of the top collections with each other, to create the perfect spectrum of looks.  I just kind of died when I saw the second image and the second to last shot, Miu Miu printed platforms AND Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte crazy booties.  [P.S.--I got my hands on two dresses from Rodarte for Target! pics soon]

Lovely styling for this editorial from Jalouse.  I am also a fan of the preppy side of the 80s, like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, not so much the flashy party looks.

//Already Famous

 

When I saw this editorial from US Vogue Jan '10, I kind of flipped.  Sasha AND some really awesome bands? Yeah. Its REAL.  I was also surprised by the look of this editorial by itself.  It was shot by Steven Meisel, who usually shoots for Vogue Italia, etc, while David Sims often shoots the studio editorials for US Vogue. Here we have a studio editorial, with the simple white background, and the season's top collections, from long-living fashion houses.  Sasha rocks the new looks, with Vampire Weekend, Ben and Andrew of MGMT, the Horrors, the lead singer of Beirut, and a few more in this funky editorial "Already Famous."

My favorite shots are the ones with MGMT, Vampire Weekend (which I've seen live and they rock), and Chester French. I can't wait to receive this issue in the mail, US Vogue seems to of done some revamping and refreshing for the first issue of the new decade.  FINALLY

I cut the pictures out and put my own little twist on it, my favorite shots are the Givenchy couture looks, and the Armani Prive look, with all of that beautiful crystal.
