For Gucci Fall 09, Frida Giannini chose to go the 80s route, just like Marc Jacobs, and a number of other designers. Each look was relatively dark, some with a touch of color. There were some prints, like dresses in bright colored polka dots, or turquoise and blue stripes. There was fur, big wrap around glasses, and metallics.
