I really love looking at what people wear on the street, and while browsing through style.com, i found "The Sartorialist," which is also a blog, that documents different shots of what people are wearing around towns, especially during fashion week, outside fashion shows, and the people who attend them. Usually the people who are documented are attendees of the fashion shows, or models. It is really fun to see what the people who go to these shows are wearing, and how they really have great individual style.
Here are some of the photos I really liked:
I really like ripped tights, they are a bit grungy, but add a little spunk to an outfit, and they also play off of the lacy tights trend.
This girl's yellow-ish coat is a great piece to add a lot of color to an outfit, and it really works with her high-waisted skirt and blouse. Even if it isn't yellow, any bright color is a great addition to an outfit, plus brights are really in for the Spring 09 season.
To me, this outfit looks very vintage, and I especially love her jacket, skirt, and shoes. The colors are a bit darker, but they all work together. Also, adding a colored opaque pair of tights is super cool and makes your legs look great. Plus, her oversized clutch is super trendy, and holds everything you need, and it is textured, which plays up the outfit.
